Dr. Connor Gallik, PhD, is an academic psychologist, specializing in the field of transgender and gender diverse (TGD) mental health. As a trans man himself, he brings a unique perspective and personal understanding to his work, aiming to increase understanding and support for the transgender community. He serves as the attending psychologist for the Adolescent Inpatient Program at Seattle Children’s Hospital and is an Acting Assistant Professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Gallik’s research primarily focuses on investigating factors related to the mental health and wellbeing of transgender and gender diverse youth, as well as exploring evidence-based practices within inpatient units. By bridging the gap between scientific research and clinical application, he strives to contribute to the development of effective interventions and treatment approaches.
